Terms and Conditions – TropSe Masters 2018
These rules apply to both the online and offline part of TropSe Master 2018.
§1 Disciplinary
§1.1
By accepting your spot in the tournament TropSe Master 2018 (TM18), you hereby accept and are obligated to follow all terms and conditions included in this document.
§1.2
The administrators for TM18 has the last word in all disputes and any action taken by the administrators are unquestionable.
§1.3
The rules are subject to any change prior to (and in rare cases also during) the tournament, and it’s the responsibility of all contestants to be aware of all changes (which will be announced to everyone concerned).
§1.4
If violating the rules you will obtain a warning. The second violation will result in a 50% deduction from eventual prize money. The third violation will result in a time-based suspension from all tropSe events.
§1.5
When applying, it is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all information is correct. You must play on your own PSN/XBOX ID. Using another PSN/XBOX ID than the one mentioned in the first application will lead to disqualification from TM18.
§1.5.1
It is your own responsibility to ensure that all results uploaded in your application are real. Uploading fake pictures will result in an indefinite suspension from future tropSe-held events.
§1.6
It is your own responsibility to ensure that all games are played within the set deadlines. Failing to do so may lead to disqualification and/or suspension from future tropSe-held events. All games that has not been played within the deadline, will turn into disputes.
§1.6.1
In case of a dispute, both parties will need to bring sufficient evidence to the tournament administrators. If it’s apparent that one of the parties has deliberately avoided to/has not brought enough effort to play the game, it may lead to warnings, replaying match or disqualification.
§1.7
It’s strictly forbidden to uncover confidential information (such as drawings of the group stage) until it’s been published by tropSe. Failing to follow this rule will lead to disqualification and/or suspension from future tropSe-held tournaments.
§1.8
It is your own responsibility to ensure that all videos/games that are uploaded has the right media content i.e. text, pictures and video. A media package will be available for download for you if you are accepted into the league. Moreover, it is important to know that the Youtube video title and description need to have guidelines. More information will be available if you are accepted into the tournament.
§2 Gameplay
§2.1
All games are to be played in the FIFA Ultimate Team game mode, during all of the tournament.
§2.2
All games are to be played through FUT Friendlies. Hence, you must add your opponents ASAP in order to prepare for the games.
§2.3
Loan players and boost cards are not allowed in the tournament. If you suspect that your opponent is using loan players, check their offline squads right after the game and report to a TropSe administrator.
§2.4
TM18 will be run on Toornament. Make an account and sign up to the right event in tournament if accepted into TM18 (more info to come for those of you that are accepted). All results should be reported at Toornament within 15 minutes from the game has finished.
§2.4.1
Right after the game has ended, remember to take a snapshot of the score and the players involved. The picture should look like this.
§2.5
Any attempt to glitch the game in order to gain an advantage is prohibited. If you suspect that your opponent is using glitches please contact an administrator.
§2.6
Procedure After a Glitch Penalty: In the event that a tournament administrator determines that was caused by an unauthorized glitch, the tournament administrator will make a decision to return the game to a fair state depending on the result of the play.
§2.7
If a game is disconnected, a new game should be started and put into the same state as when the game concluded. The remaining time plus three minutes should be played, i.e. if the game was interrupted in the 23rd minute, a new game should be started and played for 70 minutes.
§2.8
All group stage games will be played best out of 3 and should be played until you win, if it is a draw at 90th minute you choose classic and then to penalties. A victory rewards 3 points and a lose rewards 0 points. There is no possibility for a draw.
§2.9
The best players in each group proceed to the offline event. Standings are calculated through:
- Points
- Goal difference
- Most scored goals
- Internal results
- Most wins
§2.10
Seeding will be applied to the application of the qualifier and drawing of the group stage. This is how the seeding process will be used:
- We will primarily rank/seed you on your monthly Fut Champion rank because that shows concistency. If you don’t provide a monthly rank but a good weekly rank you will be ranked lower.
- With ties on monthly Fut Champions rank we will rank/seed depending on your best weekly Fut Champions rank i.e. how many wins you have had. For example, you have Elite 1 monthly and 38 wins thus you will rank higher than someone with Elite 1 monthly and 37 wins.
- If there are ties with Fut Champions rank monthly and weekly priority will be given to those who are representing a club or an organization.
§2.11
The following controller settings are required; all other controller settings are user-definable.
• FIFA Trainer: Off
• Defending: Tactical Defending
§2.12
• Custom Tactics are allowed
• Custom formations are disallowed
§2.13
Game settings – recommended
Setting 1: HUD– Customize>Game Settings>Visual> HUD – “Indicator”
Setting 2: Indicator– Customize>Game Settings>Visual> Indicator – “Player Name”
§3 Requirements
§3.1
In order to compete you must have turned 16 years old. Our requirements to enter TM18 online qualification process will be based primarily on your Fut Champions rank (see §2.10 for detailed information). It is also your own responsability to provide easy, correct and FIFA18 proof when applying to the tournament through the google form. Our TropSe administrator only have your proof and Futwiz to go on so make sure you make it easy for them.
§3.2
All players must possess a Toornament-account in order to report all the results – registration can be conducted here.
§3.3
All players must have the sufficient equipment to upload every match summary in the tournament. Further, all players must possess a YouTube-account for uploading clips.
§3.4
After every game, you should go into Replays in the match menu and then press Match Summary. Match summary needs to be recorded and uploaded with URL to the specific toornament game that you report with. This is to provide us with necessary materials for our TropSe Fut News stream each week. Failing to do so will lead to a warning or even disqualification from the tournament if you have recieved 3 warnings.
§3.5
tropSe AB owns the right to TropSe Master 2018. In order to assure the sponsors of the league the right amount of exposure and quality of all videos/matches that are uploaded on Youtube. TropSe has the license to freely distribute the video/match material provided by the players as we see fit.
§4 Fair Play
§4.1
tropSe encourages everyone to consider Fair Play at all times, both prior to, during and after the game. Make sure to read through for all the conducts HERE.
§4.2
Excessive use of trash talking/abusive language, such as (but not limited to) rascism, bullying, blackmailing will result in an indefinite suspension from future tropSe-held events.
§4.3
Manipulating the results are strictly forbidden. Any suspected match results will be reviewed. If the administrators find that the result is manipulated, it will lead to indefinite suspension from all tropSe-held events.
§4.4
Gambling, including betting on the outcome of games, is prohibited.
§4.4.1
Collusion is defined as any agreement among two or more Players to disadvantage other
Players in the competition. Collusion between Players is strictly prohibited.
§4.5
All tropSe leagues and tournaments follows the esports code of conduct in FIFA18.
§5 Financial
§5.1
Prizepool 150 000 SEK. The prizepool will be decided through the grand final.
- 1st place recieves 60% of the prizepool.
- 2nd place recieves 30% of the prizepool.
- 3rd place recieves 10% of the prizepool.
§5.2
The recipient of the prize money is the individual person or company/association/non-profit organization that has registered for the specific tournament.
§5.3
The winner(s) must be present at:
- The Prize Ceremony
- Media interviews and connected photo-shoot.
§5.4
Competition prizes must be claimed within 30 days after the event. Claiming the competition prize is done by emailing info@tropse.com. TropSe recieves the right to NOT pay out prize pool money if the claim on competetion prizes is more than 30 days late.
§5.4.1
The prize money will be paid within 90 days of claiming it.
§5.4.2
All prize money is paid in SEK including VAT.
§5.4.3
Prize money is only exempted from tax and social fees (not VAT) if the winning team is organized as a company/association/non-profit organization.
§5.4.4
Private individuals will receive money as salary, this according to Swedish Tax Law, hence tropSe AB must deduct both a general payroll tax and employment tax from the won prize amount, before the money is paid out to Individuals (see §5.7).
§5.5
When forming the invoice, the following steps should be followed:

VAT No: SE559065732501 - For invoices within the EU the VAT number has to be written on the invoice, if, by local tax law, no VAT number is needed this exception has to be stated clearly on the invoice. (EXAMPLE: EXEMPT FROM VAT ACCORDING TO LOCAL REGULATIONS)
- The invoice shall have a due date 90 days from the time the end of the event.
- The invoice shall be marked with:
- NAME OF TOURNAMENT (I.E NORDIC CHAMPION 2017).
- PLACEMENT (E.G. PLACE 2).
- The invoice shall be issued in SEK.
- The invoice shall contain bank information including IBAN & SWIFT/BIC (If you are unsure about this information, contact your bank).
§5.6
If the individual contestant is not residing in Sweden, the following applies:
- The Swedish government will see the prize money as salary.
- tropSe AB must therefore deduct both a general payroll tax and employment tax from the won prize amount, before the money is paid out an individual.
- If you are a non-resident of Sweden, you have to download the form “tropSe Prize Money” and fill in all the information and make a photo copy of your passport. All papers shall be delivered to tropSe by email.

PLEASE NOTE: tropSe will deduct “Special income tax on non-residents” and social taxes before the transfer of the money. The normal handling time for The Swedish Tax Agency is 4-8 weeks so please make sure to send us the documents as soon as possible. Depending on the winners residency the “Special income tax on non-residents” will be different, please contact your local tax offices for current rates and fees.
§5.7
If the individual contestant does reside in Sweden, the following applies:
- The Swedish government will see the prize money as salary.
- tropSe AB must therefore deduct both a general payroll tax and employment tax from the won prize amount, before the money is paid out an individual.
