Team TropSe – Reforged
Despite some minor issues, FIFA18 have been a game which have made it very clear that EA is dead serious about the competitive future of the game, and it is not just EA. Every other day announcements are made about new tournaments, partnerships and organizations entering the competitive FIFA scene. With eSports growing exponentially in every corner of the world, we at TropSe think that FIFA very soon are ready to step up and become a true Tier 1 eSports title. So what that means for us is very simple: it is time for us to step up our game! This announcement is about some changes we are making with Team TropSe to keep on pushing the limits and creating the scene.
First lets provide some background for you. About a year ago, we made the decision to start our own eSports team, Team TropSe. It simply made sense, we already knew most of the best players in the Nordics – and many of them were looking for a team so why not? Team TropSes rooster have remained the same since the start; the experienced “Justekeles”, the permanently calm “Blanco” and of course the rising star; “Ollelito”.
The team have until now been managed and coached by mr. TropSe himself: Alexis “Kuben” Piippo. This have worked fine, but as the competitive scene evolves, “fine” simply will not be good enough. Since Alexis already works around 30+ hours every given day, it was time to find some reinforcements with the capability to take the team to the next level! Without further ado, it is our great pleasure to present to you the new eSports manager of Team TropSe
Emil Berggren
Does the name sound familiar? Not impossible, Emil has been a figure on the FIFA scene for quite some time now. Among other things he was the main commentator of Nordic Champion 17, YouTube creator under alias Berggrinhosa and has been playing FIFA since 2002. Emil will help the players with analyzing gameplay, being a mental support and coaching during everything from normal WL games to live competitions.
In addition to adding this powerhouse to Team TropSes management, we have also made significant changes to the team rooster. Firstly, Justekeles and Blanco will unfortunaly no longer play for Team TropSe. The decision for them to step down is mutual, and there always will be a place for them in the TropSe family. But things change, and they both have their different reasons for leaving Team TropSe.
Blanko recently started studying for his juridical exam. The workload from his studies in combination with a slowly declining passion for the game have prompted him to take a break from competitive FIFA altogether. TropSe definitely hope to see a comeback from this amazing player sometime in the future, but for now we will have to get on without him.
Blanco
Justekeles might be removed from Team TropSes Rooser. However will not stop play FIFA! Justekeles will stay at TropSe as a managed pro, and he will also keep on supporting Team TropSe as technical coach and scrimmer.
Justekeles
Even though he is one of the most promising young players in Scandinavia, Ollelito can’t do EVERYTHING himself. With 2/3 players gone – we had to find someone that was worthy of picking up the banner and represent TropSe in a worthy way. The recruitment really was a no-brainer. The newest member of Team TropSe didn’t start competing until FIFA17 but have already managed to win Cashligan AND get to last years Nordic Champion. With the support and coaching from the TropSe network AND Team TropSes new eSports manager, we are absolutely convinced that this player will develop into a real FIFA superstar! Let us all give a warm welcome to:
Oskar Wettéus
With these changes we think that the future of the team look very bright! Our vision for Team TropSe isn’t necessary to win the most tournaments in the world. But if we can be a team that can help decent players become world champions – we will consider that the greatest wins of all!
